Domestic Violence can happen to anyone no matter what their age, gender, or race and we are a group of high school students that are standing up and saying "Enough". 

Facts and Research on Domestic Violence

-On a typical day, there are more than 20,000 phone calls placed to domestic violence hotlines nationwide. (National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 2016)


-1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have been victims of [some form of] physical violence by an intimate partner during their lifetime. (National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 2016)


-On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than 10 million women and men. (National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 2016)


-Every 9 seconds in the US, a woman is assaulted or beaten. (National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 2016)


-Women ages 18 to 34 are at greatest risk of becoming victims of domestic violence. (Scoopnest,2015)
